Fasilah abayas come in two cuts — Standard or Loose.

The fit sets how relaxed or tailored the abaya is.
The size sets the length and follows UK sizes from 52/UK10 to 58/UK16.

FIT GUIDE

Standard Fit — Follows the line of the body: tailored and shaped, never tight, for a defined, intentional look rather than a draped one. The right choice if loose abayas tend to swamp a slimmer or smaller-busted frame.

Loose Fit — A relaxed, flowing silhouette with generous room through the body, made for airflow, ease of movement, and comfort in the heat. Our Hajj & Umrah abayas are loose fit for this reason.

Which cut is yours?
Slimmer frame or smaller bust, or you want a clean, defined line → Standard.
You want a soft, draped line, room to move, or you're dressing for heat → Loose.

FIND YOUR SIZE
For every abaya we list its bust measurement at each size — so you can measure your own bust and choose the size that best matches your height and bust. If you’re between sizes or prefer a specific length, our Made-to-Measure service allows for further personalisation — ensuring your abaya feels truly made for you.

Our size chart is designed for simplicity and clarity.
STEP 1 – Match your height to the corresponding size. 
STEP 2-3 – Compare your bust circumference with the abaya bust. For a standard tailored look allow at least 4 inches difference. For a relaxed look, allow at least 6 inches of difference.

EXAMPLE 1
STEP 1 – Find your length. If you’re 5' 3" to 5' 4", choose size 54. 
STEP 2 – Measure your bust circumference and compare it to the abaya bust. Your bust circumference is 36". Find the bust circumference on the size chart. The standard bust circumference is 42". The loose bust circumference is 46".
STEP 3 – Calculate the difference between the abaya bust and your bust. Start from Standard. 

(Standard bust) 42"- (Your bust circumference) 36" = (Difference) 6"

Since the difference is more than 4", the standard fit is the right choice. You can choose a Standard 54.

EXAMPLE 2
STEP 1 – Find your length. If you’re 5' 3" to 5' 4", choose size 54. 
STEP 2 –   Measure your bust circumference and compare it to the abaya bust. Your bust circumference is 42". Find the bust circumference on the size chart. The standard bust circumference is 42". The loose bust circumference is 46". 
STEP 3 – Calculate the difference between the abaya bust and your bust.The Standard Bust is 42", so it wouldn't fit you. The Loose Bust is 46".
(Loose Bust) 46" – (Your bust circumference) 42" = (Difference) 4". 
Since the difference is 4", the loose fit will give a tailored and modest fit. If you want a more relaxed fit, choose a 54+.

How to take measurements

  • Preparation:

    • Wear fitted clothing or undergarments for accurate measurements.

    • Use a flexible measuring tape.

    • Stand straight and relax your body.

    • Ask someone to help you for more precise measurements.

  • Bust:

    • Measure around the fullest part of your bust.

    • Ensure the tape is level and not too tight or too loose.

  • Length:

    • For dresses or abayas, measure from the top of your shoulder down to the desired length.

    • Make sure you stand straight and look forward.

  • Sleeve Length:

    • Measure from the shoulder seam to the wrist.

    • Keep your arm slightly bent for more comfort.

  • Shoulder Width:

    • Measure from the tip of one shoulder to the other across the back.

    • Ensure the tape is straight and not curved.

  • Additional Tips:

    • Double-check each measurement for accuracy.

    • Note down each measurement immediately to avoid forgetting.

    • If possible, take each measurement twice to ensure consistency.

How do I choose the right size?

Simply find your height on the chart and select the recommended size. This ensures the abaya falls gracefully, just below the ankle.
What if I’m between sizes?

If you’re between heights or prefer a slightly longer or shorter length, we recommend choosing the closest size or exploring our bespoke option for a tailored fit.
